Sandra Yeh, M.D.

Sandra Yeh, M.D. is the president and founder of Prairie Eye Center. She graduated from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago in 1986. After completing her internship at Northwestern, she followed with a residency in ophthalmology at Indiana University Medical Center.

Upon moving to Springfield, she joined the practice of Michael Walsh, M.D. When Dr. Walsh retired, Dr. Yeh expanded her practice to its present location at 2020 West Iles Ave., Springfield, Ill.

Dr. Yeh is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, as well as, a member of the Sangamon County Medical Society. She has been invited to join a prestigious group of ophthalmologists to serve as Associate Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.

She concentrates her practice on general ophthalmology and LASIK refractive surgery which allows qualifying patients to reduce their dependence on glasses or contact lenses. Additionally, Dr. Yeh performs no stitch/no patch cataract surgery and now offers great news for her cataract patients. She is highly experienced in implanting the new advanced technology lenses including the Restor, Crystalens ,Rezoom and theTecnis Multifocal which now allows patients to see a broader range of vision including the ability to read without glasses.

Dr. Yeh accepts Medicare assignment and she is currently accepting new patients into her practice.
